EMS and fire personnel transport a patient at an apartment building near the intersection of Sandy Creek Drive and County Road 3530. Fire and EMS workers staged outside the residence briefly while Pontotoc County Sheriff's deputies secured the scene. One individual was transported to a local hospital.

The Ada High Cougars took on Heritage Hall in the Class 4A state championship game Friday night, Dec. 1, 2017 at Choctaw High School. Heritage Hall defeated Ada 14-0 to claim the championship.
