Oklahoma Highway Patrol units, Pontotoc County Sheriff's deputies, Chickasaw Lighthorse Police, Ada Fire Department, Mercy EMS, and Fittstown Fire personnel responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 on U.S 377 near the intersection of Country Road 1620. The driver of the vehicle was pinned for approximately 20 minutes and was freed by area firefighters using the Hurst tool. The driver was not injured. An AirEvac Lifeteam medical helicopter flew to the scene, but did not land.
